halloween!!!

chloe was a black cat and amelia was a rose fairy. she was especially proud of her light-up skirt! we had a pizza party with some friends down the road and then all went out together!

halloween bash at MHS -- 10/24/09

another outing with the lister family..... the kids had fun getting tattoos, coloring and playing pin-the-nose-on-the-pumpkin! these costumes (skeleton and cheerleader) were borrowed from melissa for the event....

amelia's birthday / halloween party in school-10/28/09

in case you can't tell, that little dress amelia is holding up is for her elizabeth doll... in school, amelia and her classmates sang several halloween songs for the benefit of the parents. too cute!

also, here are 2 funny things amelia said in the last month or so:

- boys give girls flowers on their wedding day, right mommy? because the boy wants to be sweet to his wife.

- i am the most eater fast!

amelia's 5th bday party -- 10/17/09

well, our original plan to go the farm where amelia had her first birthday did not pan out due to weather. so we moved the party to our house and hired an entertainer for the kids who did the limbo, mummy contest, parachute, etc.... a fun time was had by all!

amelia is now the proud owner of her very own BIG american girl doll -- elizabeth, who is felicity's best friend.

chloe's brownie troop was invited to model some american girl fashions during the finale of a fundraiser for special olympics. from the bottom....

grammy & poppy's visit -- 9/09

my mom and step-dad came up to help with brady for 2 weeks. it coincided with rosh hashanah so they were able to join us in roosevelt for a traditional jewish holiday feast! i must have forgotten the camera because i have no pics from rosh hashanah. 8-(

first day of school!!!! 9/8/09

chloe is in 2nd grade and amelia is in her last year of pre-school at kid connections. both girls got great teachers this year.... chloe has mrs. scott and amelia has mrs. gorman, mrs. sheehan and mrs. stegman.

you will notice in the pics in front of the front door that chloe is not a happy camper. she was upset because "her shoes were too tight" which translated means "i am very nervous about 2nd grade especially the lockers!" we were very happy to see some smiles once we got to the bus stop. the very top picture of chloe is after she came home....

sesame place -- 8/09

once again, we made the voyage to sesame place with the listers... alexandra and chloe are "best friends" and alex's little brother jackson is amelia's age. this time the kids got to be IN THE PARADE!!!! it was too cute/funny!

btw, in the close up shots of the girls, you can see their eye color really well.... chloe is officially "green" (technically light green with some blue mixed in) and amelia is officially hazel (or what i call greenish grayish brownish).
