our nephew brady came into the world on thursday 7/23/09 at 33w. he weighed 4lbs4oz but his lungs were working perfectly (thanks to 2 steroid injections that my sister alison received). there was a complication with his small intestine (it had a twist/kink) which was corrected via an operation on friday 7/24. as of today (monday 7/27), he is breathing on his own once again! the doctor estimates that brady will need to be in the nicu for about 4w, bringing us to 8/20....
