american girl fashion show -- 10/10/09

chloe's brownie troop was invited to model some american girl fashions during the finale of a fundraiser for special olympics. from the bottom....

* this is what chloe ended up wearing! rebecca's coat and hat.... rebecca is the newest american girl doll.... she is the jewish one!!!

grammy & poppy's visit -- 9/09

my mom and step-dad came up to help with brady for 2 weeks. it coincided with rosh hashanah so they were able to join us in roosevelt for a traditional jewish holiday feast! i must have forgotten the camera because i have no pics from rosh hashanah. 8-(

first day of school!!!! 9/8/09

chloe is in 2nd grade and amelia is in her last year of pre-school at kid connections. both girls got great teachers this year.... chloe has mrs. scott and amelia has mrs. gorman, mrs. sheehan and mrs. stegman.

you will notice in the pics in front of the front door that chloe is not a happy camper. she was upset because "her shoes were too tight" which translated means "i am very nervous about 2nd grade especially the lockers!" we were very happy to see some smiles once we got to the bus stop. the very top picture of chloe is after she came home....

sesame place -- 8/09

once again, we made the voyage to sesame place with the listers... alexandra and chloe are "best friends" and alex's little brother jackson is amelia's age. this time the kids got to be IN THE PARADE!!!! it was too cute/funny!

btw, in the close up shots of the girls, you can see their eye color really well.... chloe is officially "green" (technically light green with some blue mixed in) and amelia is officially hazel (or what i call greenish grayish brownish).
